I have no good reason or cute story behind making these cookies. I wasn't craving them, nobody asked for them, I just wanted to make some triple chocolate cookies.
** After chilling the cookies, let the dough come back down to room temp. If you put the cookie dough in the oven cold, they spread too much and get crispy. And I say BOOO to a crispy cookie. Oh, and I left out the cloves. Wasn't the flavor match I was looking for today.
